Manga and book episode prose is Claude Sonnet 5 in en_US and every CJK locale. No unattended downgrade. NIM is a second-pass translation tool, never a first-author.
Run offline_main_merge_guard.py as its own command and read the verdict before merging. Never chain guard + merge. stale_base with vs_merge_base=0 is documented safe-to-merge.
